Julie Durda
Julie Durda joined 7 NEWS in November 2007, as weather anchor for South Florida's #1 morning show, Today in Florida and 7 NEWS at Noon.
A native of Sacramento, California, Julie joins WSVN from KPHO-TV (CBS) in Phoenix, Arizona where she was a weather anchor and traffic reporter. She started her career in broadcasting in 2003, as a traffic and feature reporter at KXTV-TV in Sacramento.
Julie has been a member of the National Weather Association since 2006. She graduated from American River College, continued her studies at Sacramento State and is finishing her meteorology degree from Mississippi State University in 2008.
An avid runner, Julie frequently runs half marathons. She is a big football fan but enjoys all professional sports. Julie supports many charitable causes including the Y-ME Breast Cancer Organization and the Boys and Girls Club.
Viewers can watch Julie's forecast during Today in Florida, weekday mornings from 5:00AM-9:00AM and from noon-1:00PM during 7 NEWS at Noon.
