Course Overview:

Cruise Ships in a row at the Port of Miami, cool sea breeze from South Beach, majestic homes of the surrounding islands, towering luxury condos, sparkling waters of Government Cut.

What’s a Point-to-Point race?
The race course follows a point-to-point format. What that means is that runners will be starting at one “point” and finishing 5 Kilometers (3.1 miles) away. It is not a loop course but rather a nearly straight path to the finish line. You may park your car near the start (click here for parking details) and designated race shuttle buses will take you back from the finish line area. Some runners may choose to park near the finish line and jog to the start as a warm-up.

Any elevation?
There is one overpass during the two mile portion of the course. This overpass is simply a gradual elevation with an estimated 50 feet above sea level height. The view from the top gives you a glimpse of Monument Island to your left and the Miami Beach Marina to your right.
